GirlzParty is the empowering force behind the women's nightlife scene nationally. Founded in 1997, the site has seen great success within the online community.It was the FIRST party portal site of its' kind to cater exclusively to women by women within the lesbian community.Once the site was online,many promoters from all over asked to advertise and market their events.

Women's based events and parties have been recognized on a whole new level as a result of GirlParty's CEO L.D. Madison's forward thinking approach to tying the community together. The mission was simple: Link women to their community, bars, nightclubs, deejays, bands, musicians, news and opportunities nationally.With the talents of our creative and seasoned team, including our writers, photograhers, videographers, and volunteers, we have successfully reached out to millions.

For many years, GirlzParty was a one woman show... the caretaker, creator and CEO 'Madison the Promoter' has nurtured and maintained the site as a labor of love. Madison has created a trustworthy company that supports other promoters and a community of kick ass lesbians. Madison is an intelligent, hilarious & ever-loved voice in our community. Her new partner Tania shares her vision for a new generation of lesbians, bisexuals & otherwise inclined ladies to participate in Our articles, videos, interviews, roundtables, event coverage and photoblogs to investigate feminist & GBLTQ issues and cover topics including television, DIY culture, music, literature, sex, college life, style, travel, technology, film, business and cyberculture. The union of Madison and Tania (lovingly called "MadTan") will guarantee a fresh and innovative spin on things - that is for sure!
